Britney Spears ignored eight of 14 phone calls demanding court-ordered drug tests, it was revealed in court yesterday. Brit’s lawyer Anne Kiley argued that Brit hadn’t responded to some of the calls because she was sleeping. “You are not a pop star with a No. 1 album, so you don’t know,” Kiley told the judge.
Ooh snap!!! That was a just plain by smack straigh to the face of Anne Kiley which proves a very important point that if your Britney Spears it's better to be sleeping than consuming drugs.But it's not yet over.Some more additional comments.
Anne Kiley added: "Since October 5 there have been 10 negative drug tests, the idea that she needs to respond within the hour is meaningless.
"Is the issue that Britney Spears needs to get up at 8.30am and answer the phone? She's a pop star with a number one album. She is not up that early.
"However, Judge Scott Gordon hit back, saying the time of the tests are important as it will prove whether the 'Toxic' singer can follow rules.
He said: "She needs to take responsibility. The issue is to see if she can follow a court order."Since we started this, there have been lost phones, changed numbers, voicemails being left on someone else's voicemail."Maybe we should set up a fixed appointment for her to be tested. The point is we cannot continue to do these weekly ex-part motions."
This is like a smackdown showdown and it's up to Britney to step up to the plate.And i really hope she does because i for one is rooting for her.
